Commercial transparency
Spark Magic Science & DIY aims to make commercial relationships clear to readers. This policy explains how affiliate links or sponsored content should be disclosed if they are used; it does not identify a particular affiliate network, advertiser or current partnership.
Affiliate links
An affiliate relationship can mean the site receives compensation when a reader follows a link or completes a qualifying action. When a link involves that relationship, a clear disclosure should appear near the recommendation or link so readers can understand it before acting. This general policy alone is not a substitute for a disclosure on the relevant content.
Sponsored content and supplied products
Content involving payment, a supplied product or another material relationship should identify that relationship clearly in the content concerned. Commercial arrangements should not be presented as independent reader experiences.
Reader decisions
Check product suitability, material labels, prices and seller terms for yourself before purchasing. A recommendation is not a guarantee of safety, availability or results. Editorial explanations and project safety context should remain useful regardless of a commercial relationship.
Questions
Ask about a disclosure or a specific recommendation through the Contact page. Read our Editorial Policy for the approach to project content.
